The IEEE R10 HTA Resource Support Program 2026 empowers Sections, Chapters, and SIGHT groups to implement impactful humanitarian technology initiatives. It provides financial support for activities that deliver value to IEEE members while extending outreach to underserved communities. The program encourages innovative, sustainable, and scalable solutions addressing real-world challenges through engineering and technology, while strengthening volunteer engagement and capacity building.

🎯 Categories for Support

✅ Online workshops on humanitarian technology project design and event organization
✅ Discussions or training aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
✅ Humanitarian technology tracks in conferences/events
✅ Collaborative workshops or exhibitions with IEEE OUs (Section, SAC, YP, WIE, LMAG, SIGHT, PAC, Industry, Membership Development)

👥 Applicant Eligibility

Section / Student Branch SIGHT Group Chair, or Section Chair
One proposal per group
Mandatory endorsement from the Section Chair
Encouraged collaboration with SIGHT and other IEEE units
Sections under GIEEE must obtain approval from both the Section Chair and GIEEE Office
