The IEEE Impact Congress is a premier gathering under IEEE Region 10 Humanitarian Technology Activities (HTA), uniting IEEE leaders, volunteers, industry experts, NGOs, and academia to drive technology-enabled solutions for societal challenges. Serving as a hub for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and cross-sector collaboration, the Congress inspires future leaders while fostering impactful partnerships aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The 2025 edition, hosted in Japan alongside IEEE R10 Humanitarian Technology Conference (HTC), promises to amplify opportunities for networking, innovation, and lasting community impact.

Objective

The objective of the IEEE R10 HTA Impact Congress 2025 is to bring together IEEE volunteers, humanitarian leaders, and innovators across Region 10 to foster collaboration, share impactful technology-driven solutions, and build capacity for community-based development. The congress aims to highlight best practices in humanitarian engineering, promote cross-sectional partnerships, and empower participants with knowledge, tools, and funding opportunities aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through interactive sessions, showcases, and networking, the Congress seeks to inspire action, strengthen the IEEE humanitarian ecosystem, and advance Region 10's commitment to "Technology for the Benefit of Humanity."
