It is a privilege to serve as Chair of IEEE R10 Humanitarian Technology Activities. Region 10 is home to extraordinary diversity, innovation, and volunteer spirit, and HTA continues to demonstrate how technology can create meaningful, sustainable impact in communities.

Our mission is to empower Sections, Student Branches, and Affinity Groups to design scalable solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We will focus on strengthening grassroots capacity, enabling cross-border collaboration, supporting disaster resilience initiatives, and increasing engagement of Young Professionals in humanitarian projects.

Transparency, governance, and measurable impact will remain central to our efforts. We are committed to building a supportive ecosystem where every volunteer is encouraged to lead and innovate with purpose.
