IEEE R10 Humanitarian Sustainable Project & Volunteer Training Support Fund

IEEE R10 Humanitarian Sustainable Project & Volunteering Training Support Fund 2021, Grants Program is a way for the IEEE R10 Humanitarian Technology Activity Committee to support Sustainable Projects and Volunteer Training for worthwhile activities based on an application process. Each application should provide a description of the activity and a budget that shows expected income and expenses, including possible in-kind or cash support from local sponsors or other organizations. We particularly want to support activities that provide specific value to members and/or outreach to the wider community. the following are the Category for the Support

=>Online Workshop towards HT project design and event organization,
=>Discussion/Training on any of SDG,
=>HT tracks in regional and global HT conference/events,
=>Workshops / Project Exhibition in collaboration with IEEE local OU, it can be either Section, SAC & YP or SIGHT & PAC doing or maybe Industry Liaison Committee & MD doing it etc.

This may encompass special efforts to engage with local industry and/or include students and/or early career professionals. We particularly want to support efforts that include technical content in emerging areas of technology and/or which provide or discuss engineering solutions to problems of widespread community or social concern.

We will give extra credit if the program provides some way to document a positive effect on membership retention or recruitment.

Note:

This call for proposal is for any event that has to be completed on or before 31st December 2021.
The Grant will Only be disburse after submission of the final report & bills.
There will be only one proposal from section will be consider for funding.

For any IEEE SIGHT Group/ IEEE SB/Chapters, the application can be made for $250 to $400

Call for proposals: 18th November 2021
Submissions Deadline: 26th November 2021
Winners Notification: 30th November/1st December 2021
Duration given to organize projects: 1 December – 31st December 2021
Deadline for report submissions: Within 15 days from the date of event completion. Final date to submit all reports is 15th January 2022.
Fund Transfer: After Completion & Submission of Report.
